But first things first, what is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale??
This is Nordstrom’s biggest sale of the year, it includes brand new fall arrivals at super sale prices! Nordstrom Cardmembers can shop the sale before it opens up to the public, July 12 – 19. The sale will open up to everyone else July 20 – August 5.
Become a Nordstrom Cardmember! Not only can you shop early access, you also earn 2 points per dollar which can be redeemed for Nordstrom Notes aka $$$ off! Each cardholder also receives personal triple points days which can be used during the sale. It does take about a week to receive your card in the mail BUT I applied for a card in-store during the sale last year & they gave me a temporary card to use until I received mine!
TIP 2:
Make a list of fall items you wear the most or you know you want, this sale can be overwhelming because all the items are brand new & a lot of items sell out FAST! If you know what you want going in you won’t spend as much time looking at items you aren’t as interested in just because they’re on sale.
For example, Sweaters, Jeans & Boots are at the top of my list & once those items are checked off I’ll browse the other sale items!
TIP 3:
Contact a personal stylist! They may be able to pull things before the sale & have them ready when you arrive which makes it so much easier! I did this for the Triple Points event back in March & I’ve already had my eyes on some NSale items this year!
TIP 4:
If you’re waiting to splurge on something like designer jeans or Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots, now is the time! You won’t regret it this fall & it’s even better when you can use a personal triple points day! Last year I snagged Good American Jeans on sale & this year I’m planning on getting one splurge item!
TIP 5:
Shop online! Shopping in store can be fun but not all stores are stocked the same & there will be a much larger inventory of items online. You can also browse the early access if you aren’t a cardmember but you won’t be able to purchase until the sale opens to the public. This way you’ll at least have an idea of sale items if you aren’t wanting to become a cardmember.
