3 WAYS TO STYLE THE CLASSIC TRENCH COAT

I snagged this trench from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale as I was about to check out & I’m SO glad I did! It’s cute, lightweight & I love the little tie sleeves! Lately I have been trying to build a wardrobe as opposed to buying random pieces that I like but aren’t necessarily my style or something I would wear all the time! Below I’m sharing 3 ways I styled this classic jacket! 

I paired my trench coat with a simple striped tee & jeans! This outfit is so easy to throw on and go & it’s something that can be achieved with pieces already in your closet! This entire outfit is also part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale & everything is still in stock! I’m wearing a size XS in the jacket for reference! 

I threw on this jacket over my favorite T-Shirt dress the other day to transition this look from day to night! It was perfect for the cooler weather once the sun went down. This trench is also an easy way to elevate this look since this dress is only $12! I also love the black + tan together, I would buy everything in these two colors if I could! 

I’ve seen jackets/dusters styled similar to this before & honestly I was a little nervous that I wouldn’t be able to pull this off. Does anyone else put outfits together in their head then try them on later and you’re like … what was I thinking?? hahah thankfully this wasn’t one of those looks. I really love this outfit because I’m cold ALL the time so I usually don’t wear a T-Shirt & Shorts out anywhere unless I know I will be outside a majority of the time.
This will be one of my go to outfit for dinners because I’m always the only one that wants to sit on the patio to avoid the AC!
